Angie M. Pack, Candidate for CFP® Certification

Financial Advisor Assistant

Angie joined Kendall Wealth Partners in 2022 as a financial advisor assistant. She completed her post-baccalaureate certificate in Financial Planning with Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, in 2022. She passed the CFP® examination in March 2023. She is training to be a financial advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional under Susan Kendall. Angie enjoys assisting Susan by providing excellent service to clients as they pursue their life dreams. Angie currently continues her pursuit of knowledge by studying to become an IRS Enrolled Agent, which will enable her to assist Susan in her tax practice.

Angie spent the past 15 years in the education sector, serving as a career advisor to undergraduate and graduate students at universities in Illinois, North Carolina, and California, and also as a high school humanities instructor at a private classical school. She fell in love with personal finance in the process of helping her family pay off a six-figure student loan debt. This prompted Angie to pursue a career as a financial advisor in helping others discover financial freedom.

Angie views financial planning as the perfect way to integrate her background in education with her passion for financial literacy. Her vocational calling is to help others identify their values and goals and achieve their dreams. Her goal is to assist families to utilize their finances as a tool for pursuing their passions. She has a special interest in charitable giving, life planning, and the unique financial issues affecting Gen X, millennials, and Gen Z.

Personal Life

Angie is a Monterey Bay area native, having grown up in the local Santa Cruz mountains. She credits her Santa Cruz upbringing with her love of the beach, hiking in the redwoods, water sports, and diverse people and food.

She graduated magna cum laude from UCLA with a bachelor’s degree in 2007. Upon graduation, she was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa honor society. From 2007 to 2008, Angie lived in Jerusalem and the Palestinian Territories, where she taught English for one year while taking graduate courses at the Rothberg International School. Despite missing the financial crisis in the United States, she felt its devastating effects when the U.S. dollar tanked due to the change in the exchange rate, and she lost 25 percent of her savings, which she was living on as a student.

In 2008, she moved to the Chicago area to complete a master’s degree at Wheaton College. Upon graduation, she moved to North Carolina, where her husband, Jesse, was completing a medical residency in pediatrics. In 2013, they moved to California.

Outside of work, Angie enjoys spending time with Jesse, a local Monterey pediatrician, and their five young children. She swims with the Pacific Grove-based Master’s Swim Club several times per week and is actively involved at Wellspring Church. She also enjoys travel, backpacking, reading, and giving back to the community. She is currently training for her first marathon, the California International Marathon, in late 2023.
